Tile, chrome and stainless steel described the diners across America where most anytime you could get a 'special' and cup of coffee. Nothing was ever drab as light, whether natural or artificial, reflected off the shiny surfaces that surrounded its visitors. Walking into one in New York was no different than walking into one in Los Angeles, or any point in between.
About Stephen King
I have been using oil paint to create various scenes and portraits for over 30 years. I still marvel at how colors and shapes form visually appealing paintings. I have traveled from regular brushes to more textured surfaces using a palette knife, and currently am using looser, more sweeping brush strokes. A variety of the above can be seen in the images displayed. One would think by now I would have settled on a method that was consistent, but I enjoy trying new things and even experimenting a bit.
